From Jackson, our placement student, who spent a week at the kennels and was a very good egg.
"Christian! Thank you so much for letting me ‘infiltrate your organisation for the last week, I have really enjoyed myself and am going to seriously miss it.
Say goodbye to crumpled dog when he finally comes home for food… sorry for letting him out thanks again
Jackson"

The Yves Saint Laurent exhibition at the Petit Palais in Paris has to be one of the most impressive curated fashion exhibitions I've ever been to. On a crushingly hot day immersing yourself in the cool air conditioned world of beautifully designed clothing was bliss.
On until the 29th August 2010, if you are in Paris, it is definitely worth a visit.

Total Film sent a tweet out yesterday declaring that the 5th July 2010 was the date Marty (as in McFly) goes to the future (not back to it) in the film BTTF 2.

It was, of course, a hoax, but it caused an online sensation and 'Back To The Future' was the most searched topic on Google that day!
I just love the power one simple statement can have.
The actual date, so you can put it in your diaries, is 21st October 2015 at 4.29pm.
Which begs the question: Will Nike create a campaign to correspond with this date for Nike Dunks?

Whilst working on a closed off area of Notting Hill Gate tube station, workers discovered these simply marvelous little slices of time.

... about the new 'futuristic' buses. The final design has been improved and as nice as it is, it's the reinstation of the open platform (a la Routemaster) at the back that has caused me to go "whoop!" Watch your step as we hop on or hop off and welcome back freedom, free of the inflexibility of indifferent bus drivers and ridged bus stops.
All aboard; ding, ding.

On Thursday...or was it Wednesday? - upon Jeavons tweat deck, up popped a tweat asking for urgent assistance with distributing a high profile PR digital mail-out. Intrepid as we are, we got in touch (cape securely around our shoulders), did our bit and a new working relationship was formed.
Don't just love it when something works.

The beginning of the month saw the launch of the new Dufaylite manufacturing group website, which has been redesigned by London based web and branding agency, Crumpled Dog (that's us).
Re-launched with a vibrant new look, new content and significant layout updates. The new website creates an information hub, covering every product across the Dufaylite product range, including re-launching the Ultraboard and introducing the new Clayboard product.
The result: an enhanced user expereince for Dufaylite customers.
Talking about the website, Ashley Moscrop at Dufaylite, commented: "I really believe this is a key change for the company and is the beginning of a new start for Dufaylite. I have no doubt tht this work and the ongoing improvements we have planned will ensure it delivers the return we are looking for and revitalise the Dufaylite image."

Interesting website. It satisfies my childish urge to push buttons.

As part of the BBC's 80's series, Worried About The Boy was a take on the early years of Boy George and the brief New Romantics Scene of the early 80's.
Forget the story line (which was good) and the acting (also good), it was the cinematography by Tony Slater-Ling that stole the show.
You have to also love that the above clip is so true of clubs. If you don't have the right look, then you are not coming in.
