The Business Of Taking Risks

by Gillian 18. November 2009 12:22

Ever had to climb a 30ft pole where at the top you have to pull yourself up and stand on a tiny square platform to jump for a trapeze, all without falling? Trust me, even with a harness and the assurance that damage and death are unlikely it's not easy! Use to having your feet flat on the ground it goes against your instincts to take the unfamiliar risk. You have to trust that the harness is securely fastened and that your spotter is alert. Though in the end you'll be pleased you've done it, or at least happy to be back on the ground.

Small risks are fun. Now to apply that to business....
